In the Fall of 2019 I had the opportunity to do some freelance work for Wild Impact Marketing. Their client had ideas and reference photos of bathroom sinks and vanities, and Wild Impact needed models and renders to provide to manufacturing. In total I built 13 families of vanities in Solidworks. Each family consisted of 3-5 sizes. I utilized the Solidworks function of locking dimensions to a reference, so I only had to build one model from scratch. For the other models in the set, I would only need to edit the three main dimensions on one part, and everything changed accordingly. An easy trick that’s so satisfying when it works!

Below are a few examples of the vanity models, complete with accurate textures. Wild Impact used these to communicate with the client. Each family also included the full specs for every part, with the dimensions included. Wild Impact used those to communicate with the manufacturers.
